Inter Give Up On Idea Of Signing Arturo Vidal In January

Inter have shelved the idea of signing Arturo Vidal in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wanted reunited with the Chilean international, who has fallen out-of-favour at Barcelona this season but with Barcelona unwilling to loan him out, Inter have been forced to forget about the idea of signing him.

The Nerazzurri will instead focus their attention toward signing Rodrigo de Paul from Udinese. Inter management consider the versatile Argentine as someone ready made to slot in Conte’s system.

The report from the Roman based newspaper goes on to state that Inter have also postponed the idea of signing Dejan Kulusevski.

The 19-year-old still has some growing to do and they will instead look to sign him in the Summer transfer window instead when he will have had six more months of regular first team football out on loan at Parma.

Inter are hopeful that they will be able to make the most of the strong relations they have with Atalanta in order to do a deal for him.
