There was a meeting yesterday between the Milan city council and the architects advising Inter and AC Milan regarding the future of San Siro according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
As part of their grand plans to build a new state-of-the-art stadium, the Milanese clubs had every intention to knock down their current home, San Siro, once building work was complete on their new ground.
The clubs have however faced a lot of scrutiny for this idea with many unhappy that the historic and iconic San Siro could be no more, including the city council.
The city council have made no secret of the fact that they hope to keep San Siro standing in some way, shape or form but the clubs are completely against it due to the fact it would disrupt their plans.
During yesterday’s meetings, the parties further analysed the complete analysis carried out by the clubs into the possibility of restructuring San Siro.
