Inter full back Cristiano Biraghi gave an interview for today’s matchday programme, for the league clash between the Nerazzurri and Genoa. Italian media outlet FcInterNews noted his words.
“Inter have been the team I have always supported since I was a child, my dream has always been to play for Inter and the National team. I went through the whole youth system here, when I came back, I knew I was a different man and had a different game to the one that I had a few years before and this is a source of pride for me, a personal victory.”
The 27-year-old Italian then spoke about the current squad and the work of coach Antonio Conte.
“This is a good squad, I knew it as soon as I arrived but now I have confirmation and I think we can do something important. The winning mentality of Antonio Conte is very important for us to achieve our goals, this mentality combined with the culture of work (because everything happens on the pitch) is fundamental.”
