Most of the Barcelona leadership wish to keep a hold of Arturo Vidal but some have a differing view according to a report in today’s print edition of Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Vidal has emerged as a transfer target for Inter in recent weeks with Inter manager Antonio Conte understood to deem Vidal as his number one target.
Talks have taken place between the clubs but Barcelona, for the most part anyway, seem reluctant to deal the 32-year-old Chilean international away in this transfer window.
Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde is understood to have recently held talks with the player and assured him that he is still deemed important but many reports have suggested Vidal has made his mind up and wants out.
The report goes on to add that some of Barcelona’s leadership remain outraged by the former Juventus midfielder’s decision to go to the Spanish football association and players union over unpaid bonuses and some of them are open to letting him go.
