Portuguese giants Sporting are considering signing Joao Mario’s brother in a bid to convince the Inter midfielder to return to the club according to a report from today’s print edition of Portuguese news outlet A Bola.
Wilson Eduardo is currently on the books of Sporting’s fellow Liga NOS side Sporting Braga’s books and his contract with them is due to expire at the end of the season.
Sporting could try to sign the 29-year-old on a free transfer and this could well help them in their pursuit of his brother, who is currently out on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow.
The report goes on to state that Sporting could offer Marcos Acuna plus cash to Inter to try and tempt them into dealing EURO 2016 winner Joao Mario to them.
Whilst in the Russian capital, Joao Mario has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied four assists.
