Italian media outlets have all reacted positively to Diego Godin’s performance in Inter’s 3-1 win over Torino, which was arguably his best performance in an Inter shirt to date.
The veteran Uruguayan national team player, who joined Inter on a free transfer this past Summer, was defensively sound and scored his first goal for the club as he scored Inter’s second goal of the night.
Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport gave him a rating of 7/10 in their player ratings whilst fellow daily newspapers Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport have both handed him a rating of 6.5/10, which is the same rating Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com gave him too.
The former Atletico Madrid player has been in and out of the team this term but performances such as the one from last night will certainly help him to feature more regularly going forward.
This season the 34-year-old has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided a single assist.
