Inter have confirmed that Dutch international central defender Stefan de Vrij has suffered a sprain to his left knee via tweet on their official Twitter account moments ago.
The former Lazio man had to come off in the first half against Fiorentina after he fell to the floor holding his left knee and was replaced by Andrea Ranocchia.
Now the Nerazzurri have confirmed that he has suffered a sprain to the ligaments in his left knee, which with all likelihood means the season is over for him, but no official comment has been made yet.
