Talks between Inter and Manchester United over Alexis Sanchez are continuing according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Sanchez is currently on loan at Inter and the loan is due to expire in a matter of weeks. Inter would like to extend his loan until the end of August in order for him to be able to play in the remainder of the Europa League, should Inter make it that far.
Manchester United are however a bit sceptical when it comes to agreeing a further loan extension due to them having a fear that they could end up coming up against the Chilean national team player in the final, which will take place in around one month’s time.
Whilst on loan at Inter, former Barcelona and Arsenal star Sanchez has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided 10 assists.
