Italian Media Report Inter Looking To Mend Rift With Coach Anotnio Conte & Aren’t Considering Sacking Him

Inter are not thinking about dismissing coach Antonio Conte and will attempt to fix the rift between club and coach, according to a report from Italian news outlet ANSA earlier today, as reported by FcInter1908.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach publicly complained about the majority of the issues he suffered during his first season at Inter, from the leaks at Appiano Gentile to a club that didn’t defend him or the squad in the media.

The club haven’t commented on the former Chelsea and Juventus coach’s comments and will instead look to mend the rift between themselves and their coach.

Everything depends on the valuations made by Conte and the club at the end of the season, the report continues, although the club refuse to think about dismissing the 51-year-old.

First would be because of his contract lasting until 2022 worth €12 million a year, and the second being the lack of time to find a replacement who could train the squad to a high standard.
