Crotone Sporting Director Beppe Ursino: “Inter’s Sebastiano Esposito A Player We Like”

Crotone sporting director Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Ursino has confirmed that the club have an interest in Inter youngster Sebastiano Esposito.

Esposito is widely regarded as one of Inter’s best young prospects at the moment and he is set to sign a long term contract with the club.

It is expected that the Italian youth national team player will spend next season out on loan in order to gain more first team experience and Crotone are just one of a number of clubs who he has been linked with.

“Esposito is a player we have followed and we like him but he is not the only one, we have a group of interesting young players, even some foreigners. After the 15th we will make an imprint on this team,” Ursino explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster SportItalia, earlier on today.

Esposito, who has also been linked to several other Serie A clubs as well as a few in Serie B including newly promoted Monza, has had a mini first team breakthrough at Inter this term.

The 18-year-old sensation has made 13 appearances across all competitions at first team level, in which he has scored a single goal.
