Lionel Messi will decide his future with Barcelona after the Champions League according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
The multi-time world player of the year has just under a year left to run on his contract with his current employers, who he has spent his entire career with.
Due to his expiring contract status, he has drawn strong links over a potential move to Inter in the Summer of 2021 and the report from the Milan based news outlet explains that Inter president Steven Zhang is keeping a close eye on Messi’s situation and waiting to potentially make a decisive move to bring him to the Nerazzurri club.
33-year-old Messi has made 43 appearances across all competitions to date this term. During his time on the park, the Argentine national team player has scored 31 goals and provided a total of 27 assists for his teammates.
