Inter is the most likely next destination for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter have an agreement in principle with the highly rated Italian over personal terms and once their Europa League campaign comes to an end, Inter will then make their move and try to find an agreement with Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino.
Inter want to do a Nicolo Barella style deal for Tonali and hope to be able to pay no more than €35 million. Inter are confident that they will be able to get a deal done without disturbance.
The report from the Milan based news outlet does however state that there is an unknown in the shape of Juventus, who have just appointed Andrea Pirlo, who Tonali is often compared to, as manager.
In the 2019/20 season, Tonali made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored one goal and provided seven assists for his teammates.
