Contacts between AC Milan and Fiorentina over Inter linked Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic continue according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
As per the report which appeared on Di Marzio’s self-named website, contact between the Rossoneri club and Milenkovic’s representatives are ongoing and continuing.
AC Milan wish to do a deal by including Lucas Pacqueta into a deal but Fiorentina have made it clear that they want €40 million to part ways with the Serbian, even if the fact he only has two years left on his deal could lower his price slightly.
AC Milan are not the only club to have shown an interest in signing Milenkovic as of late with city rivals Inter also having been linked with making a potential move for him in various recent reports.
This season the 22-year-old made 41 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored a total of five goals.
