The report details how the 24-year-old Austrian wing back was sent to Premier League side Newcastle on a loan deal in the January transfer window, only four months after signing for the Nerazzurri from German side Hertha Berlin. The player failed to impress coach Antonio Conte and was deemed surplus to requirements long ago.
Borussia Monchengladbach are close to securing a deal for Lazaro, the report continues, and the player is set to undergo his medical examinations over the next few days. Then he will be signed on a loan deal with a buy option attached, and will immediately join the squad in the pre-season training camp. Lazaro made 11 appearances for Inter across all competitions, providing two assists.
