Only after the Europa League final will Inter manager Antonio Conte and Inter president Steven Zhang meet to discuss Conte’s future in charge according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
After yet another public outburst following Inter’s Serie A season finale win over Atalanta, Conte’s future was thrown right up in the air and the duo will meet to clarify the situation and discuss the future – if there is to be one.
Former Inter manager Conte wants the necessary guarantees from Inter’s ownership with regards to the future in terms of the transfer market and beyond.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to underline the importance of Inter winning the Europa League. If Inter manage to overcome Sevilla, it will be the first trophy of the Suning era at Inter and it will also be Conte’s first triumph in a continental competition.
