Inter will sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali after the Europa League final according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.
Inter have reached an agreement with Brescia worth a potential €35 million. €25 million of the sum is guaranteed and the remaining €10 million are add-ons.
Tonali will sign a five year contract with Inter worth €3.5 million a year and the report from the Rome based news outlet explains that Tonali may not be the only midfielder to arrive at Inter in the upcoming transfer window.
Inter manager Antonio Conte has explicity requested for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante to be signed. Chelsea have not shut the door on a possible sale of the Frenchman but a deal will be complex given Chelsea want between €45-50 million for the 2018 World Cup winner.
The report concludes that Joao Mario is meanwhile set to depart Inter on a permanent basis for Benfica who will pay about €12 million for him.
