Spanish Media Claim Inter President Steven Zhang Has Long Dreamed Of Signing Lionel Messi

Inter are the club most tempted to try and pull Lionel Messi away from Barcelona according to a report from Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo journalist Francesc Aguilar.

Messi’s future with the Blaugrana club is right up in the air and multiple reports have suggested that he has already expressed his doubts to Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman regarding staying with the club.

The Argentine national team player, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, has just under a year left to run on his contract and has also been linked with potential moves to Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite the possibility of being able to get him on a free in under a year’s time, Aguilar states that Inter president Steven Zhang really wants Messi and he would pay for him now rather than wait until the coming Summer.

Aguilar took to social media platform Twitter and he posted: “The club most tempted to take the step to try to sign Lionel Messi is Inter. Their owner Steven Zhang has long dreamed about him. In a hurry he would be able to pay for him now and not wait for him to be released next season. How much would he cost?”
