Spanish Media Claim Inter, PSG & Juventus All Interested In Signing Lionel Messi Should He Leave Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and Juventus are the clubs most interested in signing Barcelona star Lionel Messi, should he choose to leave Catalonia, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Sport earlier today, as reported by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

The report details how the two Italian sides and the French giants are all interested in signing the 33-year-old Argentine star, amidst reports that he’s looking to leave the Blaugrana due to issues with the board and the direction that the club has taken. PSG’s main obstacle is Financial Fair Play, which could be slightly offset by less expensive tax laws in Italy.

Inter have shown the most interest, the report continues, and are dreaming of uniting Messi with compatriot and friend Lautaro Martinez. This would also revival the rivalry between the six-time Ballon d’Or winner and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo, likely bringing in even more viewers to Serie A in general. Manchester City are also interested in Messi, but it’s less concrete at this stage.
