Photo – Inter Defender Danilo D’Ambrosio: “We Wont Stop, A Few Days Rest Then Come Back”

Inter full back Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke about the 2019/20 season and his feelings regarding their Nerazzurri’s campaign in a post on his Instagram page yesterday.

The 31-year-old Italian, who is contracted to the club until the end of next season, has been an important player for coach Antonio Conte this season due to his tactical flexibility, being able to play in multiple positions across the back line.

D’Ambrosio discussed the season alongside multiple images from the campaign with the caption: “It’s been a busy, intense and abnormal season. It was a season where everyone fought on and off the football pitch.

“The effort and contribution of everyone allowed us to continue playing to pursue a dream, a goal and even a small satisfaction that could have culminated with an important season finale.

“We created an opportunity with commitment, perseverance and a lot of hard work. The pitch, in part, repaid us. We have become a synergistic and harmonious group, a group that has a great desire to demonstrate and achieve even more important results.

“We won’t stop. A few days of rest and then we’ll come back with more experience and with the competitive wickedness that this team can and must demonstrate to football. We are Inter. Our pride is your passion and support. Always Forza Inter.”
