Inter are to meet with Parma in the coming days to discuss the situation with regard to Matteo Darmian according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market Gianluca Di Marzio.
Darmian join Parma from Manchester United in the 2019 Summer transfer window and at the time Inter made a commitment to the Ducali club that they would sign the versatile Italian defender at the end of the season.
Darmian will not be the only player brought up in discussions between the two clubs with the report, which appeared on Di Marzio’s self-named website, going on to state that goalkeeper Luigi Sepe will also be spoken about.
Parma are interested to see if Inter have a real interest in signing Sepe in order to become current number one Samir Handanovic’s back-up.
Sepe is just one of several goalkeepers that Inter have been linked with due to their hunt for an understudy to Handanovic with them also having been linked to Udinese’s Juan Musso whilst reports have also stated Inter could settle for using Ionut Andrei Radu, who is already on the club’s books.
