Valentino Lazaro’s spell at Borussia Monchengladbach has started just like his spell at Inter did in that he has picked up an injury in pre-season.
The Austrian national team player was making his first start for the Bundesliga club who he joined on a season long loan with option to buy from Inter yesterday afternoon against Greuther Furth but lasted just 30 minutes.
The player was helped to the sidelines by two members of Borussia Monchengladbach’s medical team and he was subsequently substituted and FCInterNews.it state that his condition will be assesed in the coming hours.
Lazaro joined Inter back in the Summer of 2019 from Hertha Berlin but he suffered a set-back almost immediately when he joined as he got injured and this ultimately impacted how much he played in the first half of the season.
Lazaro spent the second half of the season out on loan at Premier League club Newcastle United but continued to struggle to play regularly.
