Inter Hoping To Cash In €20M After Telling Matias Vecino’s Agent He’s No Longer Needed Italian Media Claims

Inter have told Matias Vecino’s agent Alessandro Lucci that they no longer see his client as part of their plans according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Inter plan to offload the Uruguayan national team player and hope to be able to get between €18-20 million for him. It will not be easy for Inter to sell a player for so much who is out of the project at this time but the priority is to offload him to make space for incoming signings in the midfield.

Vecino is currently sidelined until at least October due to the fact he is recovering from knee surgery but it seems that he has played his final game in a Nerazzurri shirt, at least that of Inter.

Since joining from Fiorentina in the Summer of 2017, the 29-year-old midfielder has made 96 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 11 goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
