Italian Media Report Inter Prioritizing Experienced Players Like Arturo Vidal Over Young Players Like Sandro Tonali In Midfield

Inter have other priorities to Sandro Tonali when it comes to making signings for the midfield in the transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter have been courting the Italian national team midfielder for some time now and have agreed personal terms with him but there has been a change of strategy, towards experienced players like Arturo Vidal, the report continues.

With Inter expected to be prudent with their spending on the market, the feeling is that it would be better to invest in players who are immediately ready than invest in a player like Tonali who is still developing.

AC Milan have been courting Tonali as well and have submitted a better offer than that of their crosstown rivals. The Rossoneri club have made an offer totalling €38 million between loan fee, option to buy sum and add-ons. In addition to this, AC Milan have also offered Brescia 15% of any future sale if they are to land Tonali.
