Italian Broadcaster Reports Elliot Give AC Milan Green Light To Improve Offer For Inter Target Sandro Tonali

AC Milan owners the Elliot group have given the green light for the deal to sign Inter linked Sandro Tonali, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri reached personal terms with the 20-year-old Italian midfielder in April, but failed to close out a deal for him, not fully satisfying the requests of Brescia president Massimo Cellino. AC Milan have taken advantage of this and moved quickly to complete a deal for Tonali, creating a loan offer with an up front payment of €10 million with a buy option attached.

There is still no agreement between the Rossoneri and the player’s agent Beppe Bozzo, the report continues, and Inter’s rivals will have to at least equal the five-year contract offer worth €2.5 million net per season. Tonali himself would be happy to join AC Milan. The player is anxious to play in Serie A and continue his development.
