Aleksandar Kolarov could increase Inter’s success from free kick’s if he is to arrive at the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter and Roma have reportedly agreed a deal worth €1.5 million for the versatile Serbian defender and now Inter and the player must agree personal terms.
Since 2017, Kolarov has scored a total of five free kicks, a tally bettered only by Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in Europe’s top five leagues with the Argentine having scored a highly impressive 17 free kicks.
In the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Kolarov scored a total of seven goals, of which three of them were free kicks.
For several years now Inter have had problems in taking advantage of free kicks and failed to score a free kick whatsoever in the 2019/20 season. The last free kick Inter scored came via Joao Cancelo who scored one against Cagliari back in April 2018.
