PSG Could Replace Thiago Silva With Inter Defender Milan Skriniar Italian Media Claim

Paris Saint-Germain could sign Inter central defender Milan Skriniar to be recently departed Thiago Silva’s replacement according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter have decided that they will sell the Slovakian national team player and whilst Tottenham Hotspur have taken some steps toward signing him, they are not alone as Paris Saint-Germain are also willing to sit down around the negotiating table with Inter.

Preliminary contact has been made between the parties due to intermediaries and Skriniar’s current €3 million a year salary is certainly more than affordable for a club such as Paris Saint-Germain.

The report goes on to explain that Inter hope to be able to get as much money as possible for former Sampdoria player Skriniar but it is no longer possible for them to get €70 million for him like they had previously demanded.

In the 2019/20 season, the 25-year-old made 42 appearances across all competitions, in which he provided two assists for his teammates.
