Inter CEO Beppe Marotta On Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal: “The Transfer Window Opens In A Few Days”

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has remained tight lipped when quizzed on the speculation linking Inter with a potential move for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal.

Vidal is reportedly one of Inter’s top transfer targets for the transfer window and he is reportedly in the process of trying to terminate his contract with Barcelona, which has little under a year left to run on it.

It is understood that Vidal has already agreed personal terms with Inter, who he will be able to join on a free transfer once he secures his release from Barcelona, where he has been told he has no future by newly appointed Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman.

“Vidal in black and blue? The transfer window opens in a few days,” Marotta told the gathered media outside the Grand Hotel in Rimini, a short while ago, as reported by Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

During the 2019/20 season, Vidal made 43 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored eight goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
