Gianluca Di Marzio & Luca Marchetti: “Radja Nainggolan & Ivan Perisic Could End Up Staying At Inter”

There is a chance that both Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic could stay with Inter according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalists and transfer markets experts Gianluca Di Marzio and Luca Marchetti.

Nainggolan and Perisic as well as Mauro Icardi were all deemed to be out of the club’s project in the Summer of 2019 and all three players were sent out on loan.

Icardi has since joined Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent basis whilst both Nainggolan and Perisic are officially Inter players again after their loans with Cagliari and Bayern Munich expired yesterday.

“Nainggolan? Giulini and Marotta met and Cagliari wanted to renew the player’s loan. Inter asked for him to be bought outright,” Di Marzio and Marchetti explained together whilst present in the studios of Sky Sport Italia, a short time ago.

“The player makes himself available to Conte, but the substantial difference compared to last season is that he will also do the tactical parts of training. If the player manages to convince the coach with his attitude he will have his chance and his characteristics are in line with those requested by the coach.

“As for Perisic, if an adequate offer does not arrive he would be considered as a striker along with Lukaku, Lautaro and Sanchez.”

The duo concluded that despite there being a chance for the Belgian and Croatian to stay and have another shot at things at Inter, every player is ultimately up for sale at Inter, including January transfer window signing Christian Eriksen.

“Anyone at Inter at the moment is on sale and will be sold in the event of the right offer, even those who have recently arrived like Eriksen or players considered un-transferable so far.”
