Ivan Perisic and Radja Nainggolan are not the only players to have returned from a loan spell elsewhere who could get another chance at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.
Perisic and Nainggolan spent the recently concluded 2019/20 season on loan at Bayern Munich and Cagliari respectively and a number of reports have suggested that if buyers cannot be found for them, they could be reintegrated into the first team picture at Inter.
The report from Il Giorno meanwhile explains that Joao Mario could be reintegrated with Inter manager Antonio Conte willing to give the Portuguese international a chance to prove himself.
The former Sporting CP player spent the 2019/20 season out on loan at Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow. The 27-year-old made 22 appearances across all competitions for Lokomotiv Moscow. In just over 1800 minutes on the park, he scored one goal and provided six assists for his teammates.
