Italian Media Underlines Inter Must First Sell Players Before Trying To Sign Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante remains Inter manager Antonio Conte’s dream signing to bolster the midfield according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

After investing heavily to bring in Achraf Hakimi and Stefano Sensi, Inter are mainly focused on making sales whilst also completing low cost deals for Aleksandar Kolarov and Arturo Vidal.

Big signings are not to be expected until Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio make sales manage to sell unwanted players or if an irrefusable offer arrives for one of the big names in the squad.

In order to be able to sign Kante, the report stresses that it is necessary for Inter to make profitable sales to afford a move for him.

Reports elsewhere have claimed that Chelsea want in the region of €60 million for the 2018 World Cup winning midfielder, an amount currently well out of Inter’s reach.
