Inter wing back Kwadwo Asamoah has attracted the interest of clubs in Turkey and Germany and is currently evaluating the best option, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the 31-year-old Ghanaian, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until the end of next season, struggled to impress coach Antonio Conte this season due to a variety of knee injuries, limiting him to only 11 appearances across all competitions, with his last game being against Roma in December. Clubs in Turkey and Germany are interested in him and he is currently evaluating which club would the best to relaunch his career.
Unlike Asamoah, 32-year-old Italian Andrea Ranocchia can decide to remain at Inter if he wants, the report continues, although he would have to accept a much more limited role, similar to this season. The player, whose contract also expires next June, made 12 appearances this season across all competitions. Genoa are interested in him and he could decide to leave for more regular playing time.
