A report from Spanish media outlet Sport has suggested that Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal will sign for Inter on either Monday or Tuesday next week.
The report details how coach Antonio Conte has wanted the 33-year-old Barcelona man for some time now, and will seemingly get his player early next week. The player and his agent are currently finalizing the last details with Barcelona to let him leave on a free transfer, despite the fact that his contract expires at the end of next season.
On Monday or Tuesday next week, Vidal should travel to Milan to undergo his medical exams before signing for the club, the report continues. Although the player had several interesting options to choose from, the presence of Conte at Inter convinced him. The Milanese club could pay a small compensation fee to Barcelona for the deal, similar to what happened with Sevilla and Ivan Rakitic.
