Genoa consider Andrea Ranocchia an ideal player to add to their squad according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The Rossoblu club are interested in signing the 32-year-old Italian central defender, who Inter are willing to let go for nothing and the player himself is also open to making the move to the Rossoblu club.
Inter and Genoa met yesterday for talks over Ranocchia, who Genoa think is ideal due to his experience and quality, and he was not the only player spoken about in talks.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that the clubs also discussed the situation of striker Andrea Pinamonti.
Pinamonti was sold to Genoa last year and as part of the deal the two clubs came to a gentleman’s agreement which would allow Inter to re-sign Pinamonti for €20 million but Inter do not want to bring the youngster back to the club.
