Christian Eriksen’s decision to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Inter in the most recent January transfer window was not for financial reasons the player revealed as part of the ‘All or Nothing’ documentary series which followed the daily events at Tottenham Hotspur during the 2019/20 season.
In one episode, Eriksen is in discussions with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and Levy revealed that the north London club would be prepared to match any offer that another club made to him.
Eriksen told Levy: “It’s never been [about the money], and you know that.”
