Inter need to make sales if they wish to afford a move for Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
Various reports in the media have stated that Inter manager Antonio Conte has set his sights on bringing the French national team player to the Nerazzurri and Di Marzio states that Chelsea have set a high asking price which will require Inter to make sales if they wish to reach it.
“Chelsea will not accept players as part payment and his price is €70-80 million. Inter therefore need sales to be able to reach the player,” Di Marzio explained a short time ago during his show ‘CalcioMercato L’Originale’.
Kante has been with Chelsea since the Summer of 2016 and is reportedly no longer deemed as important as he once was to the club, who he still has a contract with until the end of the 2022/23 season.
This past season the former Leicester City player made 28 appearances across all competitions, in which he managed to score three goals.
