Crotone have abandoned their pursuit to sign Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito on loan according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
The newly promoted side have been linked with taking Esposito on loan for the upcoming season for several weeks now but they have given up on signing them.
The report explains that Crotone have stopped courting him due to him simply being too expensive for them. It remains to be seen where Esposito could end up going on loan but potential suitors are far from lacking with him having been linked with loan moves to severla other sides.
During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Esposito had a mini first team breakthrough at Inter. The extremely highly rated Italian youth national team attacker made 14 appearances across all competitions for Inter and during his time on the park he managed to score his first senior goal for the club.
Esposito is the second Inter youngster Crotone appears set to miss out on with Lucien Agoume, who they have also been linked with, destined for a loan move to Spezia.
