Inter To Go Back In For Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud At End Of The Transfer Window Italian Broadcaster Reports

Signing Olivier Giroud could be an option that Inter explore in the final days of the transfer market according to a report from Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla on Italian broadcaster SportItalia, aired moments ago.

Giroud has just under a year left under his contract with Chelsea and depending on player sales Inter could potentially move for him in order to bolster their options in the attack.

Pedulla claims that Giroud has an agreement with Chelsea which means he is allowed to leave and he has a current transfer value of €5 million, although it could be possible for a deal to be done for him at a lesser price.

Inter were strongly linked with Giroud back in the January transfer window but could not get a deal done for him at that time.

In the 2019/20 season the eperienced Frenchman made 25 appearances across all competitions and in his time on the park he scored 10 goals and tallied a single assist.
