Chelsea Open To Parting Ways With Inter Target N’Golo Kante Italian Media Claim

Chelsea are open to the sale of Inter target N’Golo Kante as they look to fund a deal for West Ham’s Declan Rice, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how coach Frank Lampard has decided that the 29-year-old French midfielder, who won the Premier League with Leicester City prior to joining the Blues, is no longer central to his project at the club, and so is not considered unsellable anymore.

The London based club are looking to help solve their shaky defense, with the 21-year-old Rice one of their top options to strengthen their back line.

In order to fund the deal for the West Ham talent, Chelsea would be willing to sell Kante, the report continues.

The Blues want around €50 million for the 29-year-old, a high fee in the current transfer market. The Nerazzurri must sell before they are able to invest.
