Inter could acquire Marcos Alonso on a loan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter have realised that it will be easier for them to acquire the Spaniard from Chelsea than it will be for them to land Emerson Palmieri from the Premier League side, the report claims.
Despite relations between Inter coach Antonio Conte and Chelsea being tense, the report explains that Inter are still looking to bring former Fiorentina wing-back Alonso to the club on a temporary basis.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that if Inter wish to buy the 29-year-old, they will have to make sales, above all at left wing-back where he will play meaning that Dalbert could be moved on to create space for him.
Alonso, who is under contract with Chelsea until 2023, has played every minute of Chelsea’s 2020/21 campaign thus far but he is yet to have made any goal contributions.
