Inter have offered central defender Diego Godin to Roma according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.
Godin has appeared to be just a step away from Cagliari for several days now but this report claims that Inter have offered him to Roma who are still looking to add another central defender to their ranks after completing the signing of highly rated Marash Kumbulla.
The report goes on to state that at the moment however, it is unlikely that things will pick up and turn into anything concrete.
Godin joined Inter in the Summer of 2019 on a free transfer after his contract expired with Atletico Madrid. The 34-year-old Uruguayan national team player still has just under two years left on his contract with Inter.
Last season Godin made 36 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park he scored two goals and scored a single goal.
