Rosario Cancello has joined Torino on loan from Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.
The young Italian striker will spend the duration of the 2020/21 season on loan at La Granata, where he is likely to get far more chances to play at first team level than he would have had he stayed at Inter.
The recently turned 18-year-old joined Inter back in the Summer of 2016 from the youth academy of Italian lower league club Reggiana.
Cancello, who has been likened to former Inter captain Mauro Icardi for his playstyle, has never played a first team match for Inter nor has he ever been on the bench for the first team.
Last season Cancello was promoted into Inter’s under 18 squad, the second highest youth squad Inter have behind the Primavera. He made a total of eight appearances across all competitions and scored three goals in just over 400 minutes on the field.
