Inter have accepted an offer from Sampdoria for wing-back Antonio Candreva according to a report from Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.
It is currently unclear what the value of the offer that Inter have accepted from Sampdoria and Pedulla adds that it is now down to Candreva to decide whether to accept the move to the Blucerchiati club.
In a follow up tweet he added: “Sampdoria’s contract offer for Candreva: €1.6 million per season plus add-ons. It’s up to him.”
Candreva joined Inter in the Summer of 2016 as one of then new owners Suning’s first signings as he was brought in from Lazio.
The 33-year-old has just under one year left to run on his contract with Inter and has also been linked with a potential move to Sampdoria’s arch rivals Genoa in the past few days.
Since joining Inter, Candreva has made 151 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 18 goals and provided 31 assists. Last season Candreva scored seven goals and tallied nine assists in 40 appearances.
