Genoa and Parma have both made enquiries to Inter with regard to the availability of central defender Andrea Ranocchia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
It now remains to be seen what offers, if any, arrive for the experienced Italian and the future of Lorenzo Pirola at the club will depend on what happens with Ranocchia, who has just under a year left to run on his contract with Inter.
For the time being Inter have blocked the departure of youngster Pirola, who has been heavily linked with a potential loan switch to Serie B club Pescara.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that there has been contact between Inter and Napoli over Matias Vecino.
Inter want to get as much as possible for him whilst Napoli do not want to go beyond a loan with option to buy deal for him.
