Parma’s Matteo Darmian To Complete Inter Transfer Today Italian Media Report Insists

Matteo Darmian will definitely become an Inter player today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Every detail between Inter and Parma has been agreed and Darmian will swap Parma for Inter in a €2.5 million deal. His medical and contract signing will be carried out immediately.

The highly versatile Inter player has been on Inter’s radar for some time, with many reports stating that negotiations have taken place since last year.

The 36-time Italian national team player is primarily a wing-back and can play on either wing and he is also capable of playing at centre back too in Inter’s three at the back system.

Since joining Parma Darmian has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided a single assist as well. He has made two of those appearances this season but has not made any goal contributions.
