Arturo Vidal underwent physiotherapy in training yesterday ahead of Inter’s match with Lazio this weekend according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
In Wednesday evening’s 5-2 win away to Benevento, Vidal was forced off the field due to an injury to his thigh. Reports in the media in the days since have stated that the injury is nothing serious and this report states that Vidal should still participate in Sunday’s match in the Italian capital.
It does of course remain to be seen whether the Chilean national team player will be in a position where he will be able to start the match or if he will start the match on the bench and come off the bench during the game, like he did on match day one in the 4-3 win over Fiorentina.
Since joining Inter, the former Barcelona player has made two appearances across all competitions but is yet to make any goal contributions.
