Agreement Reached Between Inter & Monza For Lorenzo Pirola Loan Deal Italian Media Confirm

Inter defender Lorenzo Pirlo will join Serie B side Monza on loan, according to a report from Italian media outlet GianlucaDiMarzio.com earlier today.

The report details how the 18-year-old Italian defender will join former Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s Monza side on a season-long loan deal. The final agreement was reached between the two clubs today, despite some interest from Sassuolo.

Pirola, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2025, made his first team debut under coach Antonio Conte last season, in a win over SPAL.

The Italian teenager shone for the Nerazzurri’s Primavera squad last season, helping the side keep ten clean sheets in 20 appearances across all competitions.

Pirola is one of many young Nerazzurri talents being sent out on loan this season. 18-year-old Italian striker Sebastiano Esposito is currently out on loan with Serie B side SPAL,  with 18-year-old French midfielder Lucien Agoumé spending this season on loan with Serie A side Spezia.
