Talks between Inter and Cagliari over Radja Nainggolan have come to an end according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
The two clubs have been in talks over the Belgian central midfielder for several weeks now but negotiations have ended without a deal being agreed upon.
There has been talk of interest in the 32-year-old from abroad but this report states that as things currently stand there is nothing concrete and Nainggolan staying at Inter is becoming more probable by the minute.
The transfer window is due to close at 8pm CET and it remains to be seen what will happen between now and then with regard to Nainggolan.
Nainggolan joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 from fellow Serie A side Roma and he has since went on to make 37 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and tallied three assists.
