Inter Striker Romelu Lukaku Returned To Milan Immediately After Belgium’s Win Over Iceland Italian Broadcaster Reports

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku wasted no time in returning to Milan following the conclusion of his national team commitments according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Immediately after Belgium’s 2-1 UEFA Nations League win away to Iceland last night, Lukaku opted to travel right back to Milan rather than wait until today to do so.

Lukaku’s decision to return to Milan immediately came as a result of his strong desire to make himself available to Inter manager Antonio Conte as soon as possible ahead of this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina

Lukaku joined Inter in the Summer of 2019 in a club record €65 million transfer deal from Premier League club Manchester United.

The 27-year-old Belgian has since gone on to make 54 appearances across all competitions to date for Inter. In his time on the park he has scored a sensational 37 goals and also provided a total of seven assists for his teammates.
