Andrea Pinamonti Or Ivan Perisic Could Partner Lautaro Martinez In Inter Attack Against Parma

With Romelu Lukaku to miss the match with Parma and Alexis Sanchez far from tip top condition, Inter manager Antonio Conte must decide who to play alongside Lautaro Martinez in the attack according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The most natural choice to play alongside Lautaro would be striker Andrea Pinamonti, who has come on as a substitute in each of Inter’s past two games.

Former Juventus and Italian national team boss Conte could however opt to deploy Ivan Perisic in a second striker role.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that a system change cannot be ruled out either and rather play a 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2, Conte could play Inter in a 3-4-2-1 system.

In the event he goes down the route of the 3-4-2-1 the question would no longer be who would play next to Lautaro but who will take up the other attacking midfield role and this report concludes that it would be a battle between Radja Nainggolan and Christian Eriksen.
