Inter Striker Andrea Pinamonti: “I Want To Thank Antonio Conte For His Compliments”

Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti discussed the upcoming league clash against Parma and the words of coach Antonio Conte in an interview with Italian broadcaster InterTV earlier today, before the game.

“Surely Parma is coming here to play their game, we will try to plays ours to bring home the three points.

“In seasons like this, with a thousand difficulties, everyone must be ready. That is a strength that we have and that will give us an advantage.”

The 21-year-old Italian striker then commented on the praise of coach Antonio Conte that he received recently

“It gave me great pleasure, I thank him. I feel that I am improving after a complicated start given the change of tactics, but the more time that passes, the better things are going.”

Pinamonti, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has made two appearances so far this season under Conte, for a total of 23 minutes.

The player spent last season on loan with Genoa, where he scored seven goals and provided three assists in 34 appearances, across all competitions.

Inter are currently fifth in the league after five games, sitting on ten points. The Milanese side are three points behind league leaders AC Milan.

The Nerazzurri’s next games are against Real Madrid in the Champions League next week followed by Atalanta next weekend.

Parma have started the season poorly, currently sitting 16th in the table with only four points. The Emilian side’s one win came against Hellas Verona at the start of this month.
